There were murmurs of meetings, between those who are secretive, those who are curious, and those who are downright bitter. But last night, in the middle of negotiations, the line went dead.
“Tell me about last night. No wait, don’t tell me about last night. I only want to know what didn’t happen last night, everything you never said, all the things you couldn’t see, every person you didn’t meet. Then we can get to the bottom of this, hush hush and all that.”
Now three liars are caught up in their own webs of suspicion and decay, in the latest work from the creators of Oscar and The Oresteia.
The Swallow-Tailed Coat is a relentless puzzle of handshakes and blank stares, anonymous phone calls from undisclosed locations, and fruit baskets they never ordered. The Swallow-Tailed Coat is the story of last night.
