Things you should know about your visit to The Blue Room Theatre
BOOKING TICKETS to The Blue Room Theatre attracts no additional charges, whether you book online here, over the phone, 08 9227 7005, or in person at The Blue Room Theatre Box Office, 53 James Street, Northbridge. All tickets must be pre-paid at the time of booking.
PARKING can sometimes be found on nearby streets, or you can access the secure City of Perth car parks off Francis St or Roe St. PUBLIC TRANSPORT is a short walk from The Blue Room Theatre. Visit www.transperth.wa.gov.au or call the Infoline: 13 62 13.
ACCESS to The Blue Room Theatre’s performance spaces and bar on the first floor can be gained using our internal lift from the street level box office foyer. Guide dogs are welcome and we also honour Companion Cards. If you require wheelchair access to our theatres, please advise The Blue Room Theatre office during business hours.
THE BLUE ROOM THEATRE BOX OFFICE opens one hour prior to each performance and accepts cash, credit card and Eftpos; though door sales are often available, they are not guaranteed. We employ a paperless ticketing system, using re-useable plastic “slapbands” for entry to the performance spaces. Tickets purchased in advance must be collected at least 10 minutes prior to show start time or may be returned to sale.
TERTIARY STUDENTS who present their Guild Membership card are eligible for $10 Student Rush tickets only in the 10 minutes prior to show start time and subject to availability. SCHOOL GROUPS (senior high school and tertiary) are welcome at the special price of $15 per student. Receive one teacher ticket FREE with every ten student tickets.
RUNNING LATE? Phone ahead. Some shows will admit latecomers during a suitable break in the performance. Others employ a strict ‘no latecomers’ policy and offer no refunds or exchanges.
SEATING in The Blue Room Theatre’s two performances spaces (40 and 60 seats) is unreserved.
ADULT CONTENT features in The Blue Room Theatre Seasons, intended for audiences aged 15 years and over unless otherwise stated. Many of our shows contain coarse language and adult themes. Please check any warnings at the time of booking.
DRINKS & SNACKS can be purchased from The Blue Room Theatre Bar up to one hour before each performance, at intervals, and for a limited period after each show: chips, chocolate bars, lollies and delicious toasted sandwiches; tea, coffee, and still some of the lowest priced alcoholic beverages in Northbridge. And yes, you can take your drinks into the performance!
