"I keep falling in and out of myself, just as I fell out of paradise..."

Exploring themes of isolation and dislocation, this dance/theatre/multimedia performance examines an Australian experience of landscape.

Featuring award-winning performer Jacqui Claus (2010 Ausdance Emerging Artist Award), Standing Bird is a shipwrecked mystery story.

What crime has been committed? What are the forces that threaten? What do we feel but cannot see?

The Australian landscape is cast as a potentially malevolent and hostile character - a harsh place of fearful secrets and unheard voices. Can an individual survive against the elements?

Standing Bird is an exciting collaboration between leading independent West Australian artists featuring contributions from: Paea Leach, Shona Erskine, Kyle Morrison, and Sally Richardson.

Book through The Blue Room Theatre or PICA to get your tickets for $25 (that's $5 less than FRINGE WORLD prices!)
