Co-curated by James Berlyn and Sarah Rowbottam

12 artists | 12 spaces | 12 performances | 12 minutes each | 12 times a day

Australia’s first ever micro-festival of one-on-one art will fill every corner of The Blue Room Theatre’s two-storey heritage building, transforming 12 spaces with 12 world premiere performances tailor-made for an audience of one – you!

The brainchild of WA artist James Berlyn with co-curator Sarah Rowbottam, Proximity features hand-picked new works of small-scale hybrid art made by established and emerging WA artists.

Experience live-art in the dressing room, theatre in the office and dance in the lift! Proximity is a chance to get up close and personal with performance in a radically intimate way.

See four shows in a one-hour experience or see the entire program over three hours if you dare!
