"I don't want revenge. I want understanding"

A university professor on the verge of attaining tenure, his student on the verge of failure. A sexual harassment claim and the brutal degeneration of their relationship from cordial to savage. A bitter battle of power erupts, spirals in on itself from sanity and reason to primal emotion.

David Mamet is one of America's finest playwrights. In Oleanna his use of broken dialogue is masterful - sentences stretch out like a row of jagged stones.

Happy Dagger Theatre unites Marmet with an outstanding creative team, who between them have won no less than five Equity Guild awards: Jon Green, Andrew Hale, Nick Higgins, Renee McIntosh, Kingsley Reeve, Marcelle Schmitz and Bryan Woltjen.

"There can be no tougher or more unflinching play than Oleanna." - Harold Pinter.
