About the Venue

The Blue Room Theatre
29 March to 8 April 2006

Written, directed and performed by Claire Hooper

Claire has to have throat surgery.

How does a comedian, actor and burgeoning radio star (if she could just get paid for a shift on air) respond to the threat of losing her voice?

She writes a comedy show about it.

Fast paced and hilarious, OH is jam packed with pre-recorded sound and vision and features the world's first radiobroadcast from a mime dj!

"OH is an autobiographical overreaction to minor surgery and an upbeat and offbeat look at the ways we talk without talking."

Claire Hooper has performed stand up comedy in Edinburgh, London, Melbourne and Sydney, and on RoveLive, as well as presenting on ABC TV's 'How the Quest Was Won'. She wrote and directed 'Fairytales on Thin Ice' (WAYTCo 2005), directed 'Hamlet' (PTC/Hoopla 2004), and performed the female lead in 'Big Fun Sometimes' (Luke Milton, 2005).
