Fear, power, prejudice and love. Are these the keys to freedom, or the walls of a prison from which there is no escape?

Psychiatric doctor Jim Hall is drawn to piecing together the fragments of Ivan Radicevic's mind. Ivan, a former war veteran from Croatia is haunted by his splintered memory, the voices which have followed him across the globe, and the birds that sing at his window. In the minefield of the mind, can these two men from different worlds ever find peace?

Fragmented pulls apart the relationship between doctor and patient, lover and fighter, immigrant and society.

"…a very powerful piece of writing, with two excellent central roles." - Lindy Hume, Artistic Director, PIAF.
