"As a visitor to Perth who likes to see live theatre, this was a terrific show in a great venue. The versatility and impact of the acting and its closeness was most appreciated."
Zen's Red Mouth audience member, July 2007

"Loved the show, I always enjoy the performances at The Blue Room. Artsy atmosphere, but not pretentious, cutting edge performances. Never boring"

Alvin Sputnik is Earth’s last hope. The seas have risen, billions have died, and those who remain live on farms on top of skyscrapers, on top of mountains.

The scientists have tried everything. Floating islands sank, space probes found nothing, and the giant sponges, visible from the moon, are now rotting icons of failure.

Now science and humanity are turning to the oceans themselves. It is up to Alvin Sputnik to venture through the mysterious depths to find a place for the human race to live in peace once more.

From the imagination of international multi-award winning theatre company Weeping Spoon Productions, comes a visually inspired solo show using a unique blend of mime, puppetry and transformative animation to explore the next and oldest frontier, the deep blue sea.

“...skilful animated live theatre.” - The West Australian
